This is what we claim at the French level and at European level with the European Confederation of Unions”, said this Thursday On France Inter Sophie Binet, the secretary general of the CGT on the occasion of the demonstrations of the May 1 in France. Nearly 270 processions will parade everywhere in France, according to the CGT. In Paris, the procession will leave at 2 p.m. from the Place d’Italie with the presence of foreign union officials from around the world.

“You have to stop the checks in white” To companies, asks Sophie Binet who will be present in the Parisian event. The CGT owner pleads so that these public aids “are conditioned on the prohibition of layoffs”And she should not “evaporate into the remuneration of shareholders”.

“We have never distributed so many dividends around the world, in France and in Europe”, Sophie Binet alert. “And yet, we want to impose social setbacks on workers.”
