“The European Commission must take action, it can no longer wait”, believes Jean-Noël Barrot


France sent a letter to ask the European Commission to “initiate an investigation and impose appropriate sanctions” against the e-commerce platform Shein.

France contacted Europe this Thursday and asked the European Commission “to initiate an investigation and impose appropriate sanctions” regarding Shein.

The Chinese e-commerce platform is notably the target of a legal investigation for having sold child-like sex dolls. “We have allowed large platforms to prosper onlinebelieves Jean-Noël Barrot, whose rules are set by Chinese and American billionaires and which disrupt the economic, social and democratic life of the nation. This is unacceptable.”
