The EPCR confirmed this Monday the timetables of the finals of the two European cups, which will be held in bad shape in Dublin.
The 32 teams still in the running in the two European cuts are now set. The EPCR communicated this Monday the schedules of the two finals, which will be held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on May 19 and 20. The final of the CUP challenge will take place on Friday at 8:00 p.m. Irish hour (and therefore 9:00 p.m. French time), and the final of the Champions Cup on Saturday at 4:45 p.m. Dublin hour, 5:45 p.m. Paris hour.
“” More than 60,000 tickets have already been sold for these finals which will be back in Dublin 10 years after the coronation of RC Toulon in Champions Cup against ASM Clermont Auvergne,
And that of the Leinster Rugby in CUP challenge against Stade Français Paris in 2013 ″, specifies the EPCR. Recall that the Aviva Stadium has a capacity of 51,000 places, so there will be a few places to sell when we know the posters of these finals.
Will there be French clubs in these finals as in 2013? We will know a little more in a month and a half, after the knockout stages, for a first skimming. Three Top 14 clubs will compete in the final phase of the Champions Cup, but only two at home (La Rochelle and Toulouse, the last two winners). In CUP challenge, France is represented by six clubs, including the Stade Français and Lyon, which will compete in Jean-Bouin.
