The German Moselle valley and its vines as far as the eye can see seduce tourists in search of great air, enchanting setting and picturesque villages. Meeting with a group of retired cycle tourists who live a dream stay.
The German Moselle is one of the most beautiful river valleys in Europe. An enchanting site classified at UNESCO which, with its roads and vines offers an ideal playground to cycle tourists who come to pedal on its banks. A group of retired cyclists, aged 68 to 79, is in the saddle. They came specially from Paris to taste the sweetness of these landscapes at the start of the summer season.
A 300 km trip they make between Metz (Moselle) and Coblence (Germany). Florence did not see herself discover the German landscapes differently, while Hugues, a former senior industry, takes advantage of the bicycle to get out of course. At the foot of the ruins of his medieval castle extends the charming town of Bernkastel, who reaches out to them for a well -deserved break. They will stop in the evening at Erich Peter Lehnert, a winemaker whose family has been installed on site since 1653.
