The objective of the petition launched Tuesday July 22 by the inter -union to say “No to the Bayrou budget” is to follow “The same path” that the one against the Duplumb law, which relaunched the debate on pesticides in France, explains Wednesday On France Inter The secretary general of the CGT, Sophie Binet.
This petition, launched on the change.org platform by the unions CFDT, CGT, FO, CFE-CGC, CFTC, UNSA, FSU and Solidaires requires “Immediate abandonment” Measures presented by the Prime Minister to reach almost 44 billion euros in savings. It has been launched after the success of the petition against the Duplomb law – which provides for the reautivating under the conditions of the use of the Acetamipride insecticide -, which raised nearly 1.8 million signatures since July 10.
“This is excellent news that this petition against the Duplumb law is reaching records. Obviously, it creates a dynamic. And the goal is that this second petition against austerity follows the same path to say that we do not want to choose between the end of the world and the end of the month. It is the same fight”underlines Sophie Binet.
“It is very serious to endanger the future of our children by reautorizing pesticides and substances dangerous for the environment. And it is also a endangerment of our future and that of our children to cut in all the expenses of the future, to cut in investments for education, for health, to cut into social spending. This, at a time when social inequalities reach records”explains Sophie Binet.
“There have never been so many rich people in France. There have never been so many poor people in France, including workers who will still be usedinsist on the chief of the CGT. This is why we call all the people who listen to us to sign this petition. “
