As part of its fight against fraud at the Maprimerenov system, the government published, Tuesday, June 17, two decrees which harden the rules of access to the status of agent, making it possible to perceive public aid for energy renovation on behalf of a third party.
The publication of these decrees comes when the government has decided to suspend the filing of new Maprimerenov ‘files for global renovations by July 1 and until mid-September, due to too many demands and attempted fraud.
During a request for Maprimerenov ‘aid’, for isolated work or for a large -scale renovation, an individual can designate a fund collection representative, a useful tool to prevent the owner from having to advance the price of the work to a company.
From July 1, the level of requirement to access this status will be noted and documents allowing the State to better control them will be requested, in particular a criminal record extract and proof of cash.
“The regulatory texts published this day will make it possible to significantly strengthen the cash requirements of agents, therefore prohibiting” empty shells “agents without means of this market”explains the ministry responsible for housing.
“The agents will be imposed on the completion of an extremely strict control plan which will allow them to be monitored and evaluated” and “Sanctions against them will be reinforced very significantly” (up to 6% of turnover), it added.
