The government is proposing to reduce the reimbursement of thermal cures by Health Insurance to 15%, compared to the current 65%, confirmed Wednesday, November 5 in the Senate, the Minister Delegate in charge of Solidarity, Charlotte Parmentier-Lecocq. “The government is making proposals” as part of the draft Social Security budget (PLFSS), Mays “Parliament debates and Parliament will vote”she affirmed, implicitly confirming remarks made the day before before the high assembly, during questions without debate, but which had gone unnoticed until then.
In response to a question from Senator LR of Aveyron Jean-Claude Anglars, she explained that the government “proposed” of “reduce the rate of coverage by Health Insurance for thermal packages (…) by lowering it from 65 to 15%”. Coupled with the elimination of 100% reimbursement for people on ALD already announced, the measure would allow “a saving of 200 million euros for our social accounts”, the minister explained.
