“Mobilization pays off”greets, to franceinfo Friday October 31, the CGT, while the Prime Minister said he “favorable” the abandonment of the freezing of retirement pensions and social minimums in 2026, measures which appear in the draft Social Security budget.

Sébastien Lecornu made this announcement about pensions when the deputies had just rejected the amendments concerning the Zucman tax. The freezing of retirement pensions and social minimums are among the most contested measures in the budgetary debate.

“This announcement must now be confirmed. We will watch the rest very carefully to ensure that there is no wolf”assures the CGT to franceinfo. “The rest of the horrors must now be removed from the budget, starting with the doubling of medical franchises, the elimination of civil servant positions and the freezing of their salaries, the reduction in staffing of community hospitals and public services”continues the union, ensuring that the mobilization planned for November 6 “will serve to maintain pressure on these subjects”.
