Ryanair will stop operations at Bergerac (Dordogne), Brive (Corrèze) and Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin) airports. The low -cost airline announced this on Wednesday July 30 in a statement, pointing to the impact of the solidarity tax on plane tickets. “This astronomical tax makes France less competitive compared to other EU countries such as Ireland, Spain or Poland, which impose no air tax”justified the Irish group, announcing a 13% reduction in its capacity in France for this winter. The scale of the solidarity tax on plane tickets (TSBA) was upgraded from March 1 for all flights from France, following the publication of the 2025 finance law.
