“This is a personal decision, I am not leaving by fleeing”, writes Luca de Meo in a letter addressed Monday June 16 to employees of the Renault group and which Franceinfo was able to consult. The director general of the automotive group confirms the imminent end of his mission at the head of the company. He will leave his executive functions by July 15, in accordance with the agreement made with President Jean-Dominique Senard and the Board of Directors.

Luca de Meo welcomes the results obtained under his direction, evoking “The best results never achieved” by the group and a company now “On the right track”.
