Tunisia: the president receives the credentials of five new foreign ambassadors in Carthage


The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, chaired an official ceremony yesterday, November 6, at the Carthage Palace, during which he received the letters of credence of five new ambassadors accredited to Tunisia.

The newly appointed diplomats are:

  • Pierre Ntsiet Ngolo, ambassador of the Gabonese Republic to Tunisia.
  • Lindiwe Benedicta Hendricks, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Rami Farouk Assad Al-Qudumi, Ambassador of the State of Palestine.
  • Malan Niamké Ebagnilin Benjamin, ambassador of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
  • Devyani Uttam Khobragade, Ambassador of the Republic of India.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Mohamed Ben Ayed, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad.
