New resident of Unibet Rose Rockets, Frenchman Clément Venturini spoke in particular about this new adventure which is beginning, with Cyclism’actu.
Clément Venturini begins a new adventure. About ten days ago, the Frenchman, now 32 years old, joined the French cycling team Unibet Tietema Rockets, which will become Unibet Rose Rockets from the 2026 season and which has ProTeam status. Venturini’s team change was forced, following the disappearance of his Arkéa-B&B Hotels formation at the end of this 2025 financial year.
Near Cycling newsthe Frenchman mentioned this change of team, which was not necessarily in his plans, initially: “(…) I really hoped that Arkéa would continue to finish my career with this team. These are a bit like the words I had with Manu (editor’s note: Emmanuel Hubert). We know the ending, the one that no one wanted. Lots of questions this winter. Unibet was one of the first teams to offer me an interview, give me a video and make me a contract offer for 2026.”
Venturini: “I don’t regret my choice at all”
At that moment, doubts were present in the Frenchman’s head: “At first glance, I wasn’t ready. At that time, there were things that were dragging me. I saw the negative more than the positive. Months went by, a lot of discussions, a lot of questioning. Finally, I signed up with them and I don’t regret my choice at all after spending a week with the team. »
This new project therefore seems to excite him: “(…) It’s a team which is full of desire, motivation and which wants to grow. Being part of this project is always enriching. We also want to give a small stone to the building, contribute to its success. It’s all the more motivating for me at that moment. (…) I never spoke English within the team, you have to integrate. Even if it’s a French team, we know very well that it’s more of a foreign team. This is not to displease me, I am even happy to get off the beaten track. »
